8 Summer Smoothie Recipes

Smoothies are a fun, easy & healthy option for breakfast, snack and meal replacements, especially during the summer!

The recipes listed below are designed to be low in calories, but you can boost the nutrition further by adding 2 spoons or mixed seeds and 2 spoons of curd/greek yogurt to any smoothie.

For sweetener, I recommend using this organic honey.

1. Strawberry Oats Smoothie

  • 100g frozen strawberries or blueberries
  • 40g oats
  • 1/2 medium banana
  • 1/2 cup cow milk (120ml)
  • 1 tsp honey (optional) Blend all ingredients together until smooth.

Calories: 239 kcal, Protein: 8g, Carbohydrates: 44g, Fat: 4g.

2. Mango Coconut Smoothie

  • 1 chopped mango
  • 1/2 cup cow milk (120ml)
  • 1/2 cup coconut water (120ml)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract Blend all ingredients together until smooth.

Calories: 169 kcal, Protein: 5g, Carbohydrates: 32g, Fat: 2g.

3. Spinach Banana Smoothie

  • 1/2 medium banana
  • 1/2 cup cow milk (120ml)
  • 40g baby spinach
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp honey (optional) Blend all ingredients together until smooth.

Calories: 181 kcal, Protein: 7g, Carbohydrates: 26g, Fat: 6g.

4. Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

  • 1 medium banana
  • 1/2 cup cow milk (120ml)
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract Blend all ingredients together until smooth.

Calories: 271 kcal, Protein: 10g, Carbohydrates: 36g, Fat: 11g

5. Banana Berry Smoothie

  • 1 medium banana, sliced
  • 100g berries (strawberry/raspberry)
  • 200ml cow milk
  • 1 tsp honey Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Enjoy!

6. Peach and Mango Smoothie

  • 1 medium peach, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 chopped mango
  • 200ml cow milk

7. Spinach and Avocado Smoothie

  • 1/2 ripe avocado (about 50g)
  • 50g fresh baby spinach
  • 200ml cow milk
  • 1 spoon mixed seeds or chia seeds
  • 1-2 tsp honey Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Enjoy!
